The Blind Club were asked to document the performance of Dog Is Dead playing to their home town fans at the Nottingham music festival – Splendour. Playing in front of a packed out crowd, it was a special event in the bands quickly accelerating career.
Sending six cameras along with an equal number of operators the film produced an interesting blend of TV broadcast style festival coverage and The Blind Club’s own organic approach. We’re pretty shy folk at times but we tried to look bold as we got right up close with the band, giving the viewer some pretty gnarly insights into the point of view of a band member performing to a packed out festival crowd.
